It’s a new season, it’s a new day; a fresh anointing is coming our way. It’s a season of power and prosperity, it’s a new season coming to me. Do you remember this song? Oh how service would reverberate as we would declare those words. Hands would rise in declaration, smiles would alight one faces, a sense of hope would fill the sanctuary.
I woke up this morning with a huge smile on my face and this song in my heart. It’s a new season!!
The mornings look different the atmosphere feels different and there is a sense of expectation in the air.
The fourth month of the year has rolled in! And with it a sense of newness: new opportunities, new goals, new challenges, new encounters.
It’s time to declare what we want to see on our lives and speak life to every situation. Does that mean that trials will not come to us? No there will trials, there will be difficulties but we can choose to either see them as our downfall or as a stepping stone to the life that we desire.
When going through difficulty we often focus on the problem and doing so often leads to feeling stuck. Stuck in thought and stuck in actions, almost as if you can’t move on. However you you begin to speak life and begin to realize the things you have and acknowledge the beauty in the situation: things don’t seem so glum. Does it make the problem go away? No, it does not, but it gives you new hope to navigate the challenge that you are facing.
So this month of April choose to speak life, choose to change perception when going through challenges and make time to write down and speak out about the things you are grateful for.

The future is for those who create it. We know that old saying that goes: your thoughts become your world. And although we might not want to accept that at all times our thoughts do have a powerful way of shaping our now and our future.
As a man thinks, so is he. If we choose to think about ourselves negatively, it is negativity that will abound and continue to show up. The life we want is created by the actions, thoughts and emotions we allow in the now.

Speak life for the future you, speak life for your future life. Speak life for your future relationships. It might not change anything around you, but it will certainly change you.
